We’ve been meaning to pop into this restaurant for a while, today was the day! So glad we did! The food was incredible and full of flavour (which is a must for a European)! The staff were very attentive and our meals arrived quickly. Our baby girl enjoyed sharing our food, which she was able to do in a high chair (not many places in Victoria have high chairs so this was very refreshing :) ) We got some food to take away! So pleasing to have some authentic French cheese! And the macarons were the best I’ve ever ever had! Including when I’m in France ???????? Thank you, would recommend 100%

What a great place to stop by and have some good bites . Local fresh products and delicious wine menu are so inviting. I can't wait to go back and try few other things that this little place has to offer. We enjoyed pork tacos and octopus plate . It was delicious, bursting with flavor and paired well with a nice glass of cold white wine.

Oh boy, what a great experience. I had heard of this place for months and never had time to get down to see what they have. I was amazed by the huge selection of prepped, and semi-prepped meals that are ready to go in the fridge freezer for those nights when I just don't feel like cooking, and would rather not have toast for dinner. :) We chose to dine in on this occasion and the food was fantastic. Chantrelle Mushoom soup with truffle oil, Octopus Salad and spicy roasted nuts as an appy. While the desserts sounded great too, we were both full, but we'll save room next time. There are places that try to be local providers and do so for the marketing glitz. This is not one of them. They are the real deal. The owners have cultivated relationships with farmers, restaurateurs and producers all over the Island and they have carefully chosen the best of the best to come into their building. Can't wait to go again. I'm telling all my friends. Hope you have the same great experience that we did!

Dropped by for a quick bite at noon on a Saturday. We got seated immediately. Almost immediately it became apparent that the Niche could become a recurring habit. It featured many of our local food favourites that we have come to enjoy. Meats from Haus Sausage. Bread from Working Culture. Maiiz products, Island Eko Pantry, Fernwood coffee including a new to us Coffee Cream Soda. Niche also make a fermented Habernos hot sauce in house that has a pretty potent kick. Glad to see how they are supporting our local suppliers. Food well done!

Fresh ingredients and superb quality. Recommend the tuna and octopus salad. Definitely a great spot for a date or small outing with friends. Looking forward to the patio this summer!

Niche Grocerant is an absolute gem! The bonus is having it located in the Broadmead plaza. We sat on the beautiful patio. It is wonderful that the beverages and ingredients are sourced locally. I started with a great Herald Stout, the meat and cheese charcuterie plate and had a excellent artichoke and cured meat sandwich. I had to steal one my kids tacos. I could eat a whole plate of them. The balance of flavour and heat is awesome! It has only been only open for 9 weeks. They are doing a great job and I expect that it will only get better and better. Shop and support local!
